Jeesh, the Penguins have been playing AMAZING hockey for the season thus far. Before the season they were picked to finish in the bottom four overall. However ESPN put out their first power rankings of the season last week at the Pens were #7 overall and they were second in the Eastern Conference.

Last night they pulled out a 4-3 win in OT to regain first place. Evgeni Malkin has 7 goals in 6 games and has scored a goal in each of his first 6 games which is a record in the modern era NHL for a rookie. The last time someone scored in their frist 6 games was 1917. Amazing! HA!
